About Judy
USA Today Bestselling author, Judy Duarte, always knew there was a book inside of her and went on to publish more than fifty. Yet she never guessed there was also a Bible study waiting to be written. But God knew, and in His perfect timing, He introduced her to Heather Wilson and began to equip them to write Jesus Revealed.
Judy has been a Christian for nearly her entire life. Early on, as a senior in high school, she taught a fifth grade Sunday school class that focused on Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, which was her first deep dive into the books of Genesis and Exodus. She enjoyed those stories, but at that point in her life, she decided to focus on the New Testament. After all, she mistakenly surmised, once Jesus came on the scene, the Old Testament was not nearly as important. She had no idea how wrong she was.
The Lord began to create a fire in her to learn why Jesus continued to point his followers to the Law, the Prophets, and the Psalms. When Heather suggested they create a resource that would allow people to see that God’s plan of redemption begins in Genesis and continues through Revelation and into eternity, she answered the call.
Judy and her husband live in Southern California, where they enjoy traveling and spending quality time with an array of cute, talented kids who call them Nana and Papa.
About Heather
Heather Wilson had been a Christian for decades, did several ministries, and homeschooled her kids for 16 years. While living in Italy, and after several visits to Rome, Heather was struck by how little she knew about the history of her Christian faith.
A hunger to understand the Word led her to dive deep into the Jewish roots of her faith. She passionately studied the Old Testament from Messianic Rabbis and Bible scholars who taught through a Middle Eastern lens. All the while, she searched for a concise resource to help her lead Bible studies but could not find one that connected the patterns and prophecies from the Old Testament to the New.
Her revival and confidence in His Word motivated her to share her conviction and love for the Scriptures with others in a way that would stand against any accusation of textual corruption.
Before long, God gave her the courage to approach Judy. They joined together, answered the call, and embraced God’s quipping to write a resource that would ignite the same passion in others.
Heather and her husband live in Southern California and have many hobbies including hiking and e-biking. They also enjoy time with family and friends. Heather and Judy were asked to lead this study year-round at their church. They continue to do so and have gratefully seen God work in many women through this study.
